An ESMA graduate, he first drew attention with his graduation film Sweet Cocoon, an Oscar-shortlisted short praised for the quality and fluidity of its animation. He then moved into positions of responsibility: director, animation supervisor and art director on the series Panda Diaries: Treasure Hunt, after animating on series such as Angelo Rules. Today he is Lead Character Animator at Illumination Studios Paris, one of the biggest animation studios in the world.
Working with Jonathan means learning from someone who has explored the craft in all its breadth: the animator who sets every key, the director who thinks a project from end to end, and the lead who guides a team forward. He passes on the sense of acting, the demand for precision in the gesture, and the big-picture vision that tells you where a shot needs to go and why.
